Is It Worth Spending The Money To Buy A Blu-ray Disc Player, Or Is There Really Not Much Difference?
For those who have them, let me know if it’s been worth the investment or if I’d be better off waiting another year or two for the prices to drop.

Sony can do us all a favor and remove the Blu-ray player and make it external so we don’t have to shell out $600 right off the bat to play games that really do not use the full potenial of the Blu-ray Disc (ex: Devil May Cry 4, explained later) and movies we would just rather by the DVD than the Blu-ray Disc since they’re all the same (movie-wise, not graphic-wise).
And the reason I say Devil May Cry 4 is that (as most of us know), it has been ported to the Xbox 360 and PC. . . which I believe the Xbox 360 still uses DVDs (or dual-layer DVDs, anyone can correct me on thsi). . . and how I know is that games being played on the Xbox 360 do not required the HD-DVD External Add-on Drive. . . unless I missed something.
If they did that, Sony’s PS3 would have sold well (assuming that removing the Blue-ray player will lower the price down to $450 or 400) and when the time comes for games requiring the Blu-ray disc, we’ll gladly buy the add-on.
